Properties of bonded materials:
For porous materials such as paper and cardboard, choose starch-based or acrylate adhesives; for non-polar materials such as plastic films such as polyethylene and polypropylene, choose adhesives containing chloroprene rubber or polyurethane components; for metal foils such as aluminum foil, choose epoxy or acrylic modified adhesives.
Lamination process requirements: If rapid curing is required to improve efficiency, choose reactive acrylate adhesives; if the operation time is long, choose natural or synthetic rubber adhesives. The viscosity of the adhesive is moderate when roller coating, and low-viscosity water-based acrylate adhesives are selected when spraying.
Environmental conditions for use:
Silicone-modified adhesives are used in high-temperature environments, and polyurethane adhesives are selected in low-temperature environments. Phenolic resin adhesives with good water resistance are used in humid environments. For contact with chemical substances such as grease, solvents, etc., choose corresponding chemically resistant adhesives, such as polyester adhesives for contact with grease food packaging.
